All of the screenprints above were exhibited in the En tránsito show at Centro Educativo y Cultural Manuel Gomez Morin, 2012.  En tránsito is a group exhibition consisting of three European artists. Emma Filipsson from Sweden, David Kendall and Ben Elwes from United Kingdom. The show explores how visual, historical and transnational processes and locations intersect as mobile, shared spaces around the globe. International economic patterns and geographical flows of labour, products/ commodities and visual media provide conceptual frameworks involving us, by default, as constant participants in a Capitalist cycle tracing themes of the past and considering resemblances today. Walking is elemental in all of the projects by the three artists and the action is allowing the re-conception of spatial and social possibilities that may manifest in world cities.
